One contribution page, every committee your cause supports.
Watershed Giving is a federal political committee that acts as a conduit. Organizations host contribution pages with us; contributions made on them are earmarked for the candidates and committees each contributor chooses, and we forward them.
Give to every candidate and committee on a page in one payment, and keep your contact information to yourself.
Your contact information stays private
We do not share your email address or phone number with the committees you contribute to, or with any organization other than the one whose page you gave through, without your consent. We never sell it, and we send you no marketing.
Federal law makes your name, address, employer and occupation public in FEC reports; your email and phone are never part of them. Privacy policy
Limits, tracked for you
Each page shows how much room you have left with each committee for each election, across every page you have given through.
One receipt, one history
Every contribution in a payment is on one receipt. Your account shows what you gave here and contributions the FEC reports under your name, matched by name and address, so some may belong to someone else.
Who can contribute
Your own funds, on your own personal card; a U.S. citizen or lawfully admitted permanent resident, at least 18, and not a federal government contractor. Contributions are not tax deductible. More in our contribution rules.
Looking to contribute? Use the page the organization shared with you; Watershed Giving does not take contributions here directly.
How it works
- 1
An organization builds a page
Advocacy organizations and PACs list the candidates and committees they support on a contribution page hosted here.
- 2
Contributors choose and pay once
They pick an amount for each committee and pay with one card charge: a contribution to Watershed Giving, earmarked for each committee they chose.
- 3
We forward and report it
Watershed Giving forwards each earmarked contribution to its committee and reports it to the Federal Election Commission with the contributor named, as federal law requires.
